The follower of the BTR 152 was first seen in public in 1961. It Czechoslovakia, Poland and Hungary not many of them were used, since local armies preferred one-engined diesel OT-64 SKOT.

BTRs are famous for their excelent floating capacities, as the fountain goes through almost the whole of the vehicle, not just in the end of it. Thus you can really steer the vehicle and is very stable which is due its perfect balance. Sometimes it might be difficult to tune up both engines in concordance.
